Sony PSP 2.70 Update is out w/ Flash 6 playback
I first saw this on MacCentral of all places. Sony released firmware 2.70 for the US market today. This brings Flash 6 playback. I did a quick couple of tests this morning, but unfortunately, I only had sites with Flash 7 in my bookmark list. I’ll do some more tests tonight. I was really hoping Sony was going to surprise us with Flash 7 playback. Hopefully that will come later this year or maybe we’ll get it via open-source.

Hi John, check w/Bill Perry, he’ll have some authoritative info soon on Sony PSP capabilities via SWF up within the next few days:

(I don’t know about the old DRKs… Mike Chambers would likely be the best contact on this, although I don’t think he has direct ownership now and has the Apollo Project on his plate.)
